Fabric 6 port switch

The Fabric-Switch with 6 ports ideally complements all StarFabric and PCIExtension products.
The Fabric-Switch allows the user to conveniently operate 6 units at the same time. The units may consist of CompactPCI busses, of PCI-Extension Boards or other Fabric-Switches.

This permits a virtually unlimited increase in the number of PCI/CompactPCI slots. At the same time, the Fabric-Switch also serves as a repeater, i. e. the distance between two PCI/CompactPCI busses can be increased up to 30 m using a switch.

  • 5-Gbit data transfer per port
  • can also be used as a repeater
  • Power supply: an external plug-in power supply unit (7-18 V).
  • Reset button, power LED, status LED included
  • up to 6 switches may be in connected in series
  • cable length between assemblies up to 13 m
  • Standard CAT5 cables can be used
  • does not require software
  • compatible with all Hartmann Elektronik Fabric products
